Introduction

The Diploma in Medicine of the Elderly is a post-graduate qualification of particular interest to General Practitioners who wish to have their competence in the area of elderly medicine recognised. A Conjoint Diploma, it is awarded by both the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland is pleased to announce that the deadline for submitting an application to sit DME Examination on 5th & 6th October 2011 has been extended. The closing date is now 2nd September 2011. Please see forms below for further information.
