Hot Topics
Hot Topics address burning issues around the prevalence of disease in a particular sub-specialty and is delivered over a full day. The day will cover the range of problems related to the selected topic and will include current and new developments addressing these issues.
Hot Topics are designed to discuss these areas of controversy and to facilitate lively and interactive debates. The target audience is primary and secondary care professionals that include physicians, pharmacists, specialist nurses, allied health professionals and students.
There are currently four planned days in 2011-2012 with the opportunity for additional dates. The sessions are also recorded and made available to Trainees, Members and Fellows of the College as streamed podcasts via the RCPI Online Medical Education Centre.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
All sessions are approved for 5 CPD credits from the RCPI.
