Applications Open for National SpR/SR Academic Fellowship Programme 09 (NSAFP)

The NSAFP is a new venture from the Irish Forum of Postgraduate Training Bodies in collaboration with the Health Research Board (HRB) and the Health Service Executive (HSE). 

 

This programme will provide a coherent and integrated training and career path for clinical academics. Following successful completion of this fellowship programme, the trainee will be awarded with a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST) and a PhD.

Applications are currently open to the following:

-      1st/2nd Year SpRs

-      Current applicants to the SpR programme to commence 1st July 2009 


In order to be considered for this programme, applicants must be eligible for, and successfully obtain a place on the SpR training scheme. Therefore, those interested in applying who are not currently on the SpR scheme must have
completed the usual application process by the closing date of 28th November 2008
. All other documents necessary for application to this particular programme (as outlined in the attached documents) could have been submitted with the SpR application or can be submitted at a later date, however no later than the closing date of 5th January 2009. There is no extra fee for applying for this programme.
