13th Annual Ralph Counahan Lecture
The 13th Annual Ralph Counahan Lecture will be given by Dr. Phil Derbyshire on the Management of Sickle Cell Disease and the implications of the service in the UK for Ireland.
Dr. Derbyshire is a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist in Birmingham Children's Hospital, Chair of the UK forum on Haemoglobin Disorders and is author of UK National Guidelines for Sickle Cell Disease. He has also lead the way in the development of services for Sickle Cell Disease in UK.
CME Study Session
There will be a CME Study Session for Paediatricians prior to the Ralph Counahan Lecture. The Faculty AGM will be held directly after lunch at 1:30pm.
