Faculty of Occupational Medicine 2011 Autumn Scientific Meeting

The Faculty of Occupational Medicine, RCPI, will hold its annual Autumn Scientific Meeting on Friday 7th October in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, No.6 Kildare Street, Dublin 2. The theme is Ill Health Retirement 

The learning outcome from this Scientific Meeting will be a focus on how doctors’ decisions are viewed by key stakeholders and how Occupational Physicians might defend their decision making process.

Speakers will include Dr Robert Ryan, an Occupational Health Specialist, Ms Norah Mason, Assistant National Director HR and Corporate Employee Relations Service in the Health Service Executive, Mr Paul Kenny, the Pensions Ombudsman, Mr Jimmy Disney of Canada Life, an expert in Employment Law, as well as representatives from the Medical Council and the MPS. This meeting is open to SpRs, Licentiates, Members and Fellows of the Faculty and to interested professionals from associated specialties.
