The Faculty of Pathology’s 27th Annual General Meeting, Annual Symposium, Admission Ceremony & Annual Dinner will take place on Friday 6th February 2009 in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, No. 6 Kildare Street, Dublin 2.

The topic for the Annual Symposium is the Future of Pathology/Laboratory Medicine in Ireland.
All Fellows are invited to the symposium and open forum on this critical topic, which occurs in the background of the imminent publication of the Teamwork report on laboratory services.
Speakers will include Prof Furness, President, Royal College of Pathologists, UK, on current and evolving changes in the United Kingdom.
An update from the incoming Dean, Prof O’Keane on International Perspective from the International Liaison Committee of Pathologists.
A report from Northern Ireland on the Evolution of Laboratory Services Reform over the past three years and a perspective on lifelong learning and career adaptation in Pathology.
