The Collegiate Members Committee (CMC) of the College would like to invite SpRs and SHOs to an NCHD Forum taking place in the Catherine McAuley Education and Research Centre, University College Dublin, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Nelson Street, Dublin 7 on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 4.30pm, immediately following the GIM Study Day.

This informal meeting aims to provide a forum where Trainees can discuss issues, provide suggestions or raise items of interest. The CMC continually strives to improve the training that we receive and we will communicate the feedback received to the training and exams committees and to the Council of College, as appropriate.

To achieve our aims we plan to hold regular meetings of the NCHD Forum to encourage Trainee participation in training issues. We are in the process of finalizing details to provide a videoconferencing link between the venue and Cork University Hospital and National University of Ireland, Galway for this session of the NCHD Forum.  Please find attached the proposed agenda for the meeting however if you have additional issues you wish to discuss we are happy to have additional discussion in regard to these on the day.
