Occupational Medicine Study Day
12/03/2009
The Educational Development Department are holding an Occupational Medicine study day in the College on 15th April 2009

This special study day has been organised as there has been a change in the Faculty of Occupational Medicine membership examination to include a critical reading paper. The programme has huge practical implications for ongoing professional practice/CME, and trainers should also be encouraged to attend. This workshop will be of interest to Membership candidates but will also be of interest to Licentiate candidates who may submit critical appraisal topics as part of their portfolio. It will also be of interest to SpRs.

Critical appraisal in Occupational Medicine is a relatively new departure and the material used in the exercises will be drawn entirely from Occupational Medicine literature.  Applicability will also be discussed concentrating on the literature of interest.

To register, or for more information, please contact Ms. Claire Hughes on (01) 8639714 or via email at clairehughes@rcpi.ie.
