RCPI Masterclass Series Infectious Disease Session

The Infectious Disease Session of the RCPI Masterclass Series on Treating the Acutely Ill Patient - Update and advances in management of common medical conditions presenting on call, will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 4:00 pm 

The Masterclass will take place in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, No. 6 Kildare St, Dublin. 2 and will also be available via live webcast to recognised webcast centres throughout the country.

 

Co-chairs for this session are Dr Colm Bergin, St James's Hospital, Dublin and Dr Mary Horgan, Cork University Hospital.  Speakers include Dr Gerard Sheehan (Management and treatment of meningitis/encephalitis), Dr Claire Donnelly (Travel-related infections and international health), Dr Dan Corcoran (Practical Guide to MRSA), Dr Paddy Mallon (Sepsis syndrome/fever in immno-suppressed host), Dr Catherine Fleming (Skin and soft tissue infections).
