Meeting Details:

In the last seven years Ireland's population grew faster than in any other EU state and by 2011 it is estimated that 14% of people living in Ireland will be aged 65 and over.

Like any demographic shift this change will present significant medical and societal challenges.  This meeting aims to address these societal trends and discuss important aspects of ageing in Ireland, how we can protect vulnerable older people and how we can age well and positively.

This meeting is open to all members of the public and there is no charge for attendance. However, in order to cater for the expected numbers wishing to attend, please apply for tickets by one of the following methods:
