Chaired by Miriam O'Callaghan, journalist and broadcaster, 'Having a Baby in the 21st Century' will address important issues concerning the promotion of safe and effective obstetric services to the women of Ireland. Recent years have seen an enormous increase in caesarean section rates, and ultrasound is playing an increasing role in the provision of antenatal services.
