The feast day of St Luke, the patron saint of physicians, has traditionally been the date of the College’s Annual Stated Meeting. Over the past few years, this important occasion in the College’s calendar has evolved into the St Luke’s Day Symposium: an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our Trainees, Members and Fellows, share knowledge and engage with the public.

We have endeavoured to create a programme of events that our Trainees, Members and Fellows will find interesting and worthwhile. Whether it is to attend lectures by leading international experts, or learn about the history of medicine in Ireland and the role of the College in preserving our unique archive, I hope you will have the opportunity to make the most of this year’s St Luke’s Day Symposium.
