Faculty of Paediatrics, RCPI Statement on the National Paediatric Hospital
28/10/2010
In recent times, there has been renewed debate regarding the new National Paediatric Hospital.

The Faculty of Paediatrics, RCPI strongly supports the proposed new National Paediatric Hospital and recommends that adequate  funding  must  be  provided  to  equip  and  staff  the  hospital  to  the  best  international  standards  in child health care.

The  Faculty  recommends  that  this  project  proceeds  as  a  matter  of  urgency  and  is  keen  to  advise  on  the ongoing discussion on the optimal delivery of care for children.

The Faculty of Paediatrics, RCPI is the authoritative professional body representing paediatricians in Ireland.
