The 2008 Summer Scientific Meeting of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine was held in the College on Tuesday and Wednesday, 27 & 28 May in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, No.6, Kildare Street. 

Speakers will discussed Obesity, Global Health, Infectious Disease, Stroke Care and the Cancer Control Strategy. The Admission Ceremony and Annual Dinner of the Faculty took place on the evening of Tuesday 27 May.
