Specialist Division Scheme
This Scheme is for doctors registered on the Specialist Division of the Medical Council, in the Specialty of Public Health Medicine.

General Division
This Scheme is for doctors on the General or Supervised Division of the Medical Council who hold one of the following:
• Membership of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine of Ireland (MFPHMI, RCPI)
• Fellowship of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine of Ireland (FFPHMI, RCPI)
• Membership of the Faculty of Public Health, UK (MPFPH, RCP UK)
• Fellowship of the Faculty of Public Health, UK (FFPH, RCP UK)
• MPH (or equivalent) and at least 50% of practice in Public Health Medicine

RCPI ePortfolio for Professional Competence
To facilitate the effective and efficient recording and monitoring of professional competence activities RCPI has developed a new ePortfolio system. The new ePortfolio system provides a platform for recording CPD and Medical Audit activities against defined targets and it will also be used as a mechanism to provide evidence of compliance with the standards set by the Schemes.
Doctors who have completed the enrolment process will receive their unique access details through the email address provided in their application to enrol in a Professional Competence Scheme. In addition, they will receive access to their own RCPI @physicians email account.
