From the 1st July 2008, all SHOs in obstetrics and gynaecology beginning their training in obstetrics and gynaecology will be required to completed the BST training programme as outlined by the Institute.
The SHO Matching Scheme is the process whereby the Institute matches applicants to one- and two-year rotation programmes in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
All rotation programmes commence in July and consist of Senior House Officer (SHO) positions that have been approved for Basic Specialist Training (BST) by the Institute.
All further queries should be directed to the BST Associate Dean, Dr. Maeve Eogan at bst@rcpi.ie
