Economy Committee

Chair - J Conor O'Keane FRCPI
Professor J Conor O'Keane was elected as Treasurer in October 2010. He is a Consultant Histopathologist at the Department of Histopathology, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin. He has served as a member of the Medical Council; the Joint Working Group, Irish Clinical Laboratory Accreditation; the Cancer Research Advancement Board, Irish Cancer Society and the National Cancer Forum. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Pathology at  University College Dublin, Chairman of the Medical Board, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and an ex-officio member of that hospital’s Executive Management Committee. He also serves as a Director of Bone Bank at Cappagh Orthopaedic Hospital. Professor O’Keane is a Diplomate of the American Board Of Pathology Anatomic Pathology and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pathology, RCPI and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI)
