The Education Committee oversees the management of Professional Competence for the College, liaising with the Medical Council and international bodies concerned in setting and maintaining high standards of medical practice.  In conjunction with the Office of the Executive, the Education Committee works on such matters as raising the profile of the College in the area of health education including liaising with the RCPI Education and Professional Development department and ensuring the standard and impartiality of external CPD.
