John Crowe FRCPI
Professor John Crowe, Consultant
Gastroenterologist and Emeritus Newman
Professor at UCD, is the 140th President of the
Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Professor Crowe, who has been Treasurer of
RCPI since 2006, was formally appointed to the
role at the College's Annual Stated Meeting on
Tuesday 18 October 2011. Professor Crowe is a
Consultant in Gastroenterology/Hepatology at
Mater Misericordiate University Hospital, Dublin and Emeritus Newman Professor at University College Dublin. Professor Crowe has been heavily involved in RCPI for a number of years. He was elected to the College’s Council in 2001, was made Vice-President in 2004, and Treasurer in 2006.

Frank Murray FRCPI
Prof Frank Murray was elected as Registrar in October 2007.
Prof Murray is a Consultant Physician / Gastroenterologist at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Treasurer
Conor O'Keane FRCPI
Prof. O’Keane was elected as Treasurer in October 2010.
Prof O'Keane is a Consultant Histopathologist at the Mater Hospital, has a broad knowledge of College affairs having served as both a member of Council and as Dean of the College’s Faculty of Pathology since 2007.
