The Irish Committee on Higher Medical Training (ICHMT), RCPI oversees the training of doctors to specialist level in twenty-five medical specialties.  Working with the training committees for individual specialties and the College's Faculties and Institute, the ICHMT has devised curricula and approved training posts capable of furnishing all the training experiences necessary for Specialist Registrars (SpRs).
