The Chief Executive Officer, Leo Kearns, is responsible for the day to day operations of the administrative function  within the College. The Senior Management Team assists the CEO in the delivery of this function.

Mr Kearns has played an active role in the higher education and medical education arenas in Ireland and made significant contributions particularly through his involvement with the Working Group on Undergraduate Medical Education and Training, chaired by Professor Patrick Fottrell.  Mr Kearns has a strong record of working with private, public sector and third level institutions and works closely with the Officers and the Fellows of the College to continue to develop the vital role of the College in the broad agenda of healthcare issues in Ireland in which the College is involved.
