Welcome to the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland archive catalogue.

RCPI maintains an extensive archive collection, which is one of the most important resources for the history of medicine and medical education in Ireland.

Between March 2010 and December 2011 RCPI undertook a Wellcome Trust funded project to e-catalogue its entire archival collection. This project is now complete and collection and item level descriptions are available for all the material in the archive. You can find out more about our collections here

The archive is located in the College's historic home in the centre of Dublin at Number 6 Kildare Street. The archive is open Monday to Friday between 9:30am & 1pm and 2pm & 5pm by appointment only. Please contact us to make an appointment.
