VIP access to our historical home at No.6 Kildare Street

Nestled beside the National Library of Ireland on Dublin’s Kildare Street, No.6 has been the home of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland since 1864. Today, it is available to hire as a unique city-centre venue for weddings, corporate functions, social gatherings and gala dinners.

Thanks to its illustrious medical past, No.6 houses an eclectic collection of artifacts and antiques reflecting the antiquity of the College. The main rooms of the building remain much as they were in 1864 when the building was opened.

When you pay your Fellowship subscription you will enjoy privileged access to this historic building, including

  • 40% discount on room hire at No.6 Kildare Street
  • Free use of the Mary Hearn Room, a quite comfortable study and research area with desktop computers and WiFi
  • Free use of the Fellows' Room, a cosy period-style drawing room facing onto Kildare Street, strictly reserved for Fellows only
  • Free or reduced price tickets for dinners and social events in No.6

Fellows are the doctors to train our Trainees, develop the educational content of our training programmes, teach our courses, mark our exams, chair our working groups, govern our organisation and influence its future direction. Fellows help us ensure that the highest possible standards of training and patient care are maintained.
