As Dean, Professor Elizabeth Keane is responsible for overseeing all matters of the Faculty with the support of the Faculty Board and Committees.
She represents the Faculty on the RCPI Council and on other national and international bodies.
Prof Elizabeth Keane is a member of Council and the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine. Prof Keane is a graduate of University College Cork. She was Director of Public Health in HSE South (Cork and Kerry) from 1995 until 2014. She has lectured in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health in University College Cork since 1990 and was appointed Adjunct Professor in 2012. As Dean, she is responsible for overseeing all matters of the Faculty with the support of the Board and the Faculty Committees. She represents the Faculty on RCPI Council and also on other national and international bodies.
We are governed by the Board of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine.
The Board is our ultimate decision-making body and is responsible for ensuring that the aim and functions of the Institute are fulfilled on behalf of its members.
