We were delighted to welcome 14 new Fellows at an admission ceremony on Friday 18 October 2019 as part of our annual St Luke's Symposium.
The 14 doctors, listed below, have all made substantial contributions to their specialties and can now use the post-nominal FRCPI. We would like to contgratulate these doctors on achieving this international benchmark of professional excellence and a major career milestone.
Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI) is an international benchmark of professional excellence and a career milestone. Our Fellows are experienced hospital consultants who have made substantial contributions to their specialty. Fellowship is the highest and most prestigious category of membership within the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Our Fellowship network extends to over 3,000 consultants around the world. They are doctors who lead, change and influence in the field of medicine, both in Ireland and internationally.
Fellowship gives doctors a united, authoritative voice to shape the future of medicine - and the future of RCPI. Fellows can attend our Annual Stated Meeting, vote in College Elections, influence healthcare policies as part of our Committees and policy groups and participate in the nomination process of a candidate for Seanad Éireann.
