In June 2021, the Hospital Doctor Retention & Motivation (HDRM) project, based in RCPI, launched a unique piece of research. Using WhatsApp and Zoom, the HDRM team will connect with hospital doctors over an extended period of time to learn about their day-to-day experiences of work and the impact of COVID-19.
The everyday working experiences of Ireland’s hospital doctors will undoubtedly be challenged by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the HSE cyberattack.
This research will contribute to our understanding of the everyday work experiences of hospital doctors in 2021, providing an evidence base for the HDRM project to inform health policy going forward. You can find out more about research HDRM conducted during the first wave of COVID-19 in this recent article for RTÉ Brainstorm.
If you are a hospital doctor working in Ireland and would like to participate in this study you can find out more information on the HDRM website, or get in touch with the HDRM team by emailing email@example.com.
