Over 150 participants to graduate at special Virtual Ceremony

Over 150 Graduates from three different programmes will be conferred in a special virtual Ceremony broadcast live from No 6 Kildare St this evening at 7.00 pm.

86 participants from 31 multidisciplinary teams across 3 cohorts will receive the RCPI Diploma in Leadership and Quality in Healthcare and the Diploma in Leadership & Quality in Community Care. The Diplomas are run as a joint RCPI/HSE programme that is fully funded for HSE employees. Our expert faculty, subject matter experts, patients and peers contributed to each Learner’s transformative experience in terms of personal growth and leadership development. Teams learned how to translate theories for improvement and implementation science into tangible positive outcomes in the health service and become champions of change!

There will also be graduates from the Certificate in Essential Leadership programme which helps recently appointed consultants explore leadership styles and develop skills in quality care.

I would like to congratulate all the graduates this evening. They succeeded despite having to change to a virtual course, deal with lock down, manage their family commitments and address the challenges of providing clinical care during the first two waves of the pandemic. Their determination and camaraderie are admirable. Their contribution to the healthcare service in Ireland will continue to be felt as they apply all they have learnt. We can be proud of all our graduates.”
