This year's St Luke's Symposium takes place 18-21 October 2017 at No.6 Kildare Street, Dublin 2.
All events are free of charge for RCPI Trainees. Members, Fellows and Licentiates who are up to date with their subscriptions can also attend free of charge.
Highlights of this year's symposium include
- Dr Liz O'Riordan, Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, talking about her experience of being a patient and a doctor in her own specialty at the National Education Day for Doctors In Training on 18 October
- Exploring the history of women in medicine and celebrating 350 being a Royal College at the Heritage Day on 19 October
- An opportunity to hear from internationally renowned Pediatric Pulmonologist Thomas Bernard Kinane, of Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA, at our Advanced Masterclass on 20 October
- Graham McMahon, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, whose talk at Medicine in Changing Times on 21 October will explore the use of educational innovation and technology to enhance teaching, learning, and behaviour
