Enhancing the effectiveness of postgraduate medical training bodies in Ireland
The Forum of Irish Postgraduate Medical Training Bodies ('the Forum') was established in December 2006 with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of the postgraduate training bodies in maintaining the highest standards in Medical Education and Training.
The Forum facilitates discussion and best practice sharing and promotes common strategies across all postgraduate medical training bodies in Ireland. Much of its work so far has focused on the issues affecting trainee doctors in Ireland.
