RCPI Crest
Collegiate Members Committee Awards
05/11/2010
The RCPI Collegiate Members Committee invites Trainees, Members and Fellows of the College, Faculties and Institute to attend the Collegiate Members Awards.

Date: Friday 5 November 2010 at 15.45
Venue: RCPI, No.6 Kildare Street, Dublin 2

The Collegiate Members Awards includes case study presentations and research abstract presentations, the best of which will be selected on the day and awarded The Corrigan Medal and William Stokes Award respectively.

The William Stokes Award 2010 was open to Specialist Registrars registered in a Higher Specialist Training programme with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. The purpose of the award is to support the highest standard of research by Specialist Registrars.

The Corrigan Medal 2010 was open to those registered in the Basic Specialist Training programme with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.  An important part of a trainee’s work life is to present material to their colleagues and peers on cases encountered when consulting with their patients.  The case study competition provides an opportunity for these cases to be presented for peer review, with the potential of culminating in the Corrigan Medal.

The RCPI Collegiate Members Awards Ceremony is part of the St Luke's Day Symposium. A programme of events can be found at this link.

The Collegiate Members Awards have been approved for 2 CME credits by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
