Dean of Postgraduate Specialist Training

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland now wishes to appoint a Dean of Postgraduate Specialist Training.   

The Dean will be responsible for the strategic development and delivery of postgraduate specialist training, the provision of career counselling to trainees and the development of a national framework on hospital inspections, quality assurance and accreditation of sites participating in postgraduate specialist training programmes within RCPI. 

This is a part-time role and is supported by an extensive administrative infrastructure. It is expected that the successful candidate will have significant prior experience of specialist training and will be currently in clinical practice.
