This programme is open to all SpRs and Consultants who have an interest in enhancing their knowledge of thrombolysis treatment for stroke.  It is also mandatory for Trainees in Geriatrics HST.

The course will cover issues such as:
- evidence base for intravenous stroke thrombolysis
- neuro-imaging
- stroke mimics
- practical aspects
- governance issues

The afternoon will be spent in small group sessions reviewing clinical cases.
