The conference will begin with an update on the Professional Competence scheme for paediatrics, both for those on the General and Specialist Divisions of the Register.
Speakers include:
Dr Nick Van Der Spek on enuresis;
Dr Ronan O’Sullivan on the development of paediatric guidelines;
Dr Orla Killeen on paediatric rheumatology;
Prof Jonathan Hourihane on allergy in childhood;
Mr John Gillick on paediatric laparoscopic surgery;
Dr Paul McNally on obstructive sleep apnoea in children.
The meeting is open to consultant and non-consultant hospital doctors in general paediatrics and allied health specialties.

Registration for this meeting will be €100. There will be no charge for trainees registered on the Basic Specialist Training, Registrar Training, Fixed Term Training and Higher Specialist Training programmes. Valid RCPI required for trainees to be exempt from registration fees.
