The College is delighted to welcome Mrs. Jean Kennedy Smith and Mr. Seamus Heaney to this ceremony, both of whom will receive Honorary Fellowships from the College.

Admission  to  Honorary  Fellowship  is  the  highest  honour  the  College  can  bestow.   This  honour  is reserved  for  world  leaders  in  medical  science  and  exceptional  contributors  to  the  welfare  of  our communities, both nationally and internationally.  Nominees are distinguished in their fields and value an association with the College. Honorary Fellows are not necessarily medically qualified.
