The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland invites you to attend the RCPI NCHD Forum 

Date: Friday, 13 May 2011 at 4.30pm
Venue: Conference Centre, RCSI Education and Research Building, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9

The Forum provides a platform for NCHDs to discuss areas of common interest and concern, and provides an opportunity for RCPI to update doctors on its activities, programmes and developments in postgraduate medical training. The May meeting, which will be attended by College Representatives and members of the senior management team, will address the following topics:

 Dr. Steve Patchett, Dean of Examinations, RCPI
 MRCPI as exit examination for BST in General Internal Medicine; update on   recognition of the MRCPI examination

 Prof. Shane O’Neill, Clinical Lead, Acute Medicine Programme
 Your questions answered about the Acute Medicine Programme

 Dr. Diarmuid Smith, Chair of the Policy Group on EWTD, RCPI
 RCPI Trainee and Trainers Surveys

 Mr. Leo Kearns, CEO, RCPI
 Discussion on issues arising from NCHD shortage
 National Clinical Programmes and links with Clinical Advisory Groups
