Registrar Training Programme (RTP) – Round 2 Applications now open.

This is a new postgraduate training programme, which is being introduced to address the needs of doctors in Irish hospitals who wish to pursue training at registrar level.

Round 2 applications are now being accepted for the Registrar Training Programme (RTP).

RTP is available to a limited number of suitably qualified doctors working in the following specialties:

• General medicine (and its subspecialties)
• Paediatrics
• Pathology
• Obstetrics and Gynaecology

For information on how to apply to RTP, please click here. The closing date for Round 2 applications is Monday 5th July 2010.

Please note that if you applied for Round 1 you should not reapply for Round 2. If your application was rejected in Round 1 you will still be ineligible in Round 2.
