Celebrating life-long medical education at No. 6 Kildare Street

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland held two graduation ceremonies on Monday, 4 December 2023, to celebrate the success of its newest graduates. 

A total of 68 healthcare professionals were awarded certificates in four different programmes. 

  • 5 successfully completed the Quality Improvement Scholarship in Residence Programme 

  • 42 successfully completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Quality Improvement Leadership in Healthcare 

  • 10 successfully completed the Certificate in Clinical Care for Residential Facilities 

  • 11 successfully completed the Certificate in Essential Leadership for New Consultants 

During the ceremonies, Dr Diarmuid O'Shea, President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, addressed the graduates, saying: “As committed professionals, we fully engage with lifelong learning and I have no doubt that you will apply what you have learnt in your everyday practice. You are our health system’s frontline staff.  The system we all work in will benefit, now and into the future, from your commitment to continuous improvement and learning. I implore you to take what you have learned and create positive change in your work environments.” 

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland offers a variety of courses covering all aspects of the medical world to help healthcare professionals update and enhance their skills.
