The Faculty of Public Health Medicine at RCPI is accredited by the Medical Council of Ireland and proud to meet the strict standards required to deliver postgraduate specialist training in public health medicine.
Membership
Fellowship
We offer Higher Specialist Training in Public Health Medicine, the final step before becoming a specialist in the area. To enrol, you must have completed Basic Specialist Training in General Medicine, or equivalent.
If you are registered on the Supervised, General or Specialist Division of the Irish Medical Council Register, you are required to be enrolled on a Professional Competence Scheme. This section will guide you through the process and help you maintain your professional competence.
We offer Professional Competence Schemes in Occupational Medicine in both the Specialist and General Divisions. This section will help you define the right Scheme for you.
