CPDValet for professional competence is now live

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland has launched a new system for recording professional competence activities. CPDValet is designed specifically to capture continuous professional development activities, providing a straightforward and seamless experience for doctors enrolled on our PCS programme.

CPDValet replaces PCS ePortfolio. Training-related activities will continue to be recorded in Risr ePortfolio.

You can access CPDValet by logging in to your ‘Digital Services’ through the RCPI website, or you may choose to download the CPDValet app.

On renewing your enrolment for the 2025-2026 year, you will receive an email from no-reply@eu-cpdvalet.com confirming that you have been enrolled onto your scheme. This email contains a direct link to login to your CPDValet account using your RCPI username and password.

If you have not yet renewed your enrolment for 2025 – 2026, you can renew online by logging into your RCPI account.

Visit our Help Centre to find out more about using CPDValet for professional competence.
