Diarmuid Breathnach Joins RCPI as Head of Education

Diarmuid Breathnach joins the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland as Head of Education in June.

With over 20 years experience working in higher education leadership, Diarmuid has successfully led the design, delivery, and management of postgraduate and professional education programmes that cater to a global audience, across Europe, Middle East and Asia.

He joins the college from the online medical education group iheed, where, as Director of Academic Affairs, he was instrumental in creating a suite of innovative online postgraduate medical education programmes in collaboration with prestigious academic partners, including RCPI. He previously led Education Delivery at Chartered Accountants Ireland.
