European AIDS Clinical Society partners with RCPI to deliver Diploma in HIV Management

The European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) has partnered with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) to deliver its European Diploma in HIV Management, a recognised benchmark of clinical expertise and professional development in HIV care.

The partnership supports EACS’s mission to harmonise and advance standards in HIV clinical care across Europe. By delivering the examination through RCPI’s remote invigilation platform, the collaboration ensures increased accessibility and quality assurance for candidates worldwide. The partnership is further enhanced by RCPI’s longstanding reputation in postgraduate medical education and examination delivery.

The European Diploma in HIV Management is designed to comprehensively assess candidates’ knowledge-based professional competencies in HIV management. Achieving the diploma reflects an advanced level of clinical expertise in HIV medicine, aligned with current European clinical guidelines, and is widely regarded as a leading standard of professional development and a strong indicator of commitment within the field of HIV management.

Applications for the European Diploma in HIV Management opened on 28 May 2025 and can be submitted through the RCPI website.
