RCPI welcomes 14 Members, Associate Members and Honorary Fellows

The Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland conferred 14 Members, Associate Members and Honorary Fellows during a ceremony at No. 6 Kildare Street on 3 March 2023. The conferring ceremony was held following the annual Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Spring Conference and also celebrated 12 CSCST certificate recipients and a Rory O’Connor Memorial Medal winner. 

The recipients were:

5. Maria Farren- CSCST  

6. Ikechukwu (Ike) Uzochukwu- CSCST

9. Cathy Monteith - CSCST  

10. Catherine Finnegan- Associate Members 

11. Sara Mohan- Associate Members  

12. Fionnuala Mone- Membership 

13. Leila Sarlu- Membership  

14. Sasikala Selvamani- Membership 

15. Anne Kihara- Honorary Fellowship 

16. Frank Louwen- Honorary Fellowship 

17. Rory Windrim- Honorary Fellowship 

Also on the night, Dr Chloe MacAuley was awarded the prestigious Rory O’Connor Memorial Medal.

The Rory O’Connor Memorial Medal is awarded in honour of the late Dr Rory O’Connor, esteemed past Chair of the Institute and former National Specialty Director. It is awarded by the Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to the highest-achieving examination candidate at each sitting of the MRCPI examination in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
