Royal College of Physicians of Ireland welcomes 237 new Members

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland has welcomed 237 new Members at ceremonies across two days in No 6 Kildare Street.

The doors of the historic building were open to our newest Members and their loved ones on 14 and 15 December 2022. The ceremonies were also streamed online on our YouTube channel for those who could not attend in person.

Speaking about the conferring ceremonies, Professor Mary Horgan, President of Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, said:

“Passing the Membership Examination is a very significant achievement and all the more so given that you have busy clinical jobs. It is a journey that is worth every step. Having the letters MRCPI after your name demonstrates that you have reached a standard of excellence that is trusted and recognised by employers around the world.”
