Royal College of Physicians of Ireland welcomes 312 new Members

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland held a series of conferring ceremonies on 23 and 24 April 2024 to welcome 312 new Members from 28 different countries at its historic building, No. 6 Kildare Street.

Over the two-day event, families and friends joined the new Members in celebration. Dr Diarmuid O'Shea, President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, welcomed the new Members, emphasising their important roles within the college. He said: "You are now becoming an integral part of the fabric and the history of this college as well as becoming an ambassador for the college. You become a custodian of what the college was, what the college is, and what the college will do, and the contribution you make to this will be vital in the years ahead.”
