Royal College of Physicians of Ireland welcomes 57 new Members

On 2 November 2023, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland hosted two conferring ceremonies at No. 6 Kildare Street to award the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) to 57 doctors from seven countries.  

Welcoming our newest Members, Dr Diarmuid O'Shea, President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland said: 

"Congratulations to each of you on becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Today is a real milestone in your career and one you should be justly proud of. It is also a proud day for your families and friends and those who've supported you. The vision of this college is a globally connected community of doctors improving people's health, and today, each one of you joins that community of doctors – a national and international network of close to 13,000 alumni working in Ireland and around the world." 

Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) is an internationally recognised benchmark of excellence, valued by healthcare employers worldwide. Becoming a Member of RCPI represents a significant milestone on these doctor's journey towards specialisation, marking their induction into a prestigious group of world-class physicians.
