Eleanor Flew is the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI). In this role, she leads efforts to build strategic relationships and secure philanthropic and corporate support for RCPI’s key initiatives, including a major capital campaign to establish Ireland’s first publicly accessible medical museum at No. 6 Kildare Street. Eleanor brings a wealth of experience in philanthropy, strategic fundraising, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong background in senior roles across the nonprofit sector.
Before joining RCPI, Eleanor served as Director of Fundraising and Communications at Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, where she led fundraising and communications across multiple sites. During her tenure, Eleanor significantly increased fundraised income, delivered several major capital campaigns, and oversaw the production of Inside the Hospice, a three-part documentary series that aired on Virgin Media in 2023.
Eleanor previously worked with Focus Ireland and UNICEF Ireland and began her career in advertising, where she gained expertise across sectors including tech, FMCG, retail, telecoms, and nonprofit.
In addition to her role at RCPI, Eleanor serves as a Board Member of Plan International Ireland and Chair of the Fundraising and Marketing Committee.
