Our Areas of Work

The Quality Enhancement Office supports our mission to continually improve upon the quality of our training, exams and programme delivery.

Assuring Quality

External validation of our educational and training programmes is currently undertaken by the Irish Medical Council (IMC) and the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).

This office will support the implementation of the quality assurance/improvement strategy by coordinating activities and collecting the data needed to allow us to continually assure and develop the quality of all aspects of training, exam and programme delivery.

Our Role

The office will also:

  • provide support for all change management processes
  • provide support for QQI and all accreditation business
  • provide support for MC and all accreditation business
  • monitor and review quality framework through internal audits/quality reviews
  • link in with the research strategy in relation to data collection to inform improvement, and
  • support cross college policies
