Our Areas of Work

The Quality Enhancement Office supports our mission to continually improve upon the quality of our training, exams and programme delivery.

Assuring Quality

External validation of our educational and training programmes is currently undertaken by the Irish Medical Council (IMC) and the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).

The office supports the implementation of the quality assurance/improvement strategy by coordinating activities and collecting the data needed to allow us to continually assure and develop the quality of all aspects of training, exam and programme delivery.

Our Role

The Quality Enhancement Office:

  • provides support for all change management processes
  • provides support for QQI and all accreditation business
  • provides support for IMC and all accreditation business
  • monitors and reviews quality framework through internal audits/quality reviews
  • links in with the research strategy in relation to data collection to inform improvement, and
  • supports cross college policies
