Annual Report 2025-2026
The Institute of Medicine continued to advance postgraduate medical education, specialist training, examinations and professional development throughout the year. Highlights included progress towards the restructuring of Internal Medicine Training, growth in international training programmes, expansion of the Irish Clinician Educator Training Programme (ICET), delivery of successful educational events and workshops, and the development of the Inclusion Health Framework. The institute also supported increasing examination demand and strengthened initiatives in clinical education and point-of-care ultrasound.
