Dr Shari Srinivasan is Dean of the Faculty of Pathology and is responsible for overseeing all matters of the Faculty with the support of the Faculty Board and Committees.

Dr Srinivasan is a Consultant Chemical Pathologist at Beaumont Hospital. She has been a member of the Faculty Board since 2020 and served as Chair of the Chemical Pathology Standing Committee from 2020 to 2024.
She was the Chemical Pathology Clinical Advisor to the Laboratory Services Reform Programme from 2022 to 2025 and a member of its Clinical and Scientific Advisory Group. She was also the Faculty Representative and a contributor to the 2023 Standards for Quality Assurance in Colorectal Screening, and a member of the Expert Advisory Group for the extension of the BowelScreen programme.
She is a current member of the National Serosurveillance Programme (NSP) Steering Committee.
