As Dean, Dr Kevin Kelleher is responsible for overseeing all matters of the Faculty with the support of the Faculty Board and Committees. He represents the Faculty on the RCPI Executive Board and on other national and international bodies.

Dr Kevin Kelleher is now retired, having been a Public Health Physician for over 40 years in the UK and Ireland. He has been Director of Public Health in Wolverhampton, UK and the Mid Western Health Board in Ireland from 1989-2005. He was then an Assistant National Director (DPH) in the HSE up until his retirement, covering a variety of roles including Health Protection, Child health, Immunisation and in the latter years Public Health totally.
Kevin was involved at the highest levels in both the 2009 Swine Flu Pandemic and the 2020-2202 Covid Pandemic. He has been a Board member of the HRB, RPII and LIT. His main areas of interest are Child Health, Immunisation Health Service Policy and Public Health Ethics.
